The Roofworks Replacement Process

If a replacement is needed, our team will help you select premium materials from our trusted partners. We’ll assist with colors, styles, and samples so your new roof complements your home perfectly.
3. Permits and Scheduling
Once your materials are chosen, we’ll order everything, apply for required permits (included in your estimate), and schedule your installation week based on delivery timing.
4. Tear-Off & Deck Preparation
When permits are approved and materials arrive, we remove your old roof, inspect and replace damaged decking, re-nail the deck to Florida Building Code, and schedule your initial city inspection.
5. Structural Upgrades (Optional)
If desired, we’ll install hurricane straps and repair trusses, soffits, or fascia boards to strengthen your roof’s foundation before installation.
6. Dry-In & Roof Installation
Next, we install new underlayment and flashing to waterproof your home, then lay the final roof covering — whether shingles, tile, or metal. A city inspection takes place during this phase to ensure code compliance.
7. Final Inspection & Wrap-Up
We schedule the final city inspection, install new gutters if requested, and provide a close-out package with all warranty and maintenance documents.
